The first essay I wrote in class, I typed a rough draft that included all my thoughts and ideas just coming from the top of my head. I didn’t know if the format was right or if it really met the prompt. I did the introduction and conclusion paragraphs and started with the body paragraphs because I’ve done that since high school and found it simpler. Then I worked on the introduction and started with a hook to grab the reader’s attention. In my final draft, I made sure my writing was more my opinion than stating facts. I stated my opinion first, then used a quote to back up my claim. I also made sure my grammar was correct for the most part because that’s my weakest spot. I liked when people peer reviewed my essay because they gave me a lot of feed back about making my paper more conversation-based. I tried my best to fulfill those requirements to improve in my writing.
