- The “Conversation” section provides a great learning opportunity. With this essay, it’s important to have conversations because it shows that you’re engaged with your topic and have a strong passion for it. I need to make some changes in my essay in order to make my essay more conversational.
- The “Organization” section is also very important. An essay has to be organized for it to make sense and flow nicely. If the paragraphs aren’t structured correctly, the reader may stop reading because of losing interest of the topic. All the paragraphs need to be connected in some of way and connect back to the thesis as well. When I go to revise my essay, I need to make sure my sentences are relevant and useful towards my essay
- Under the “Position and Intro” section, it gives you bullet points on what’s needed in an intro. This also provides a great learning opportunity because your introduction shows your point of the argument/topic and what’s the purpose of the essay. In my introduction, I state my scope and intentions which shows my position on how metaphors help people’s mental health.
- The “Writer as Driver” section is important because it shows that there’s good quality content in the essay and has personality. This gives the writer the most opportunity to drive their essay in whatever direction they want to go. It also shows how your ideas and thoughts progress throughout the paper.
